This very interesting and unusual book has specific information on various massage techniques for the entire body. They are all based upon the Taoist techniques developed more than 5000 years ago. The numerous illustrations showing each technique are clear and easy to follow with the instructions given. Even though I am more of a scientific minded person, the fact that these techniques have been used for thousands of years successfully to rejuvenate people makes this 112 page text a compelling read.This book is organized into seven parts detailing each technique. Part one begins by showing movements to prepare you for Chi-Self-Massage. Part two explains healing hands. Part three gets into massage techniques for the head, neck and shoulders. Part four deals with exercises to detoxify the organs and glands. "Relieving constipation: a major cause of ill health" is covered in section five. Section sex shows how to massage the knees and feet. The final section focuses on the daily practice of Taoist Rejuvenation techniques.This fully illustrated short book has a lot of information within its pages for those interested in the Taoist way massage techniques. This book has such detailed instructions on the Taoist rejuvenation techniques that it can be used as an excellent reference source for those into this esoteric practice. the authors write as if addressing a group of scholars on the topic of epidemiology and biostats. This is supposed to be a basic text on the subject matter. Content is too dense, written in a manner too complicated, and resorted to UWorld for down to earth explanations.

It got the job done for my class but I had to cut analysis look up examples of problems online for the statistics portion because the book just simply did not make sense. I was able to easily understand many of the statistical concepts after visiting Google.

Covers a broad array of topics that are on the ABPM General Preventive Medicine Board exam as well as the common core exam for other ABPM specialties. However, I would supplement this book with Mayo Preventive Medicine Board Review book. While most chapters are fairly comprehensive, a few such as those on Occupational Medicine and Environmental Medicine are very brief, and not reach the full depth that I would have expected (hence the 4 star over 5 star).
